The important bit first.... I am an experienced website developer. Having a good all round knowledge of XHTML/CSS, php/mysql, javascript/jQuery and Flash. Every site I build includes advanced search engine optimisation techniques helping the website gain good natural rankings instead of relying on paid for placements such as Adwords.
As well as this I am also experienced in Internet Marketing and understand the importance of social networking, email campaigns and other techniques to help increase the success of a website.
I work on a freelance basis and, below are some of the sites I have created for both agencies and direct clients.

Shrop Geek
Shropshire Geek Society is a group of people that get together approximately once a month.
Built using the popular Wordpress platform, this is community driven blog using a complete custom theme that was designed and built by me. As well as all of the standard Wordpress functionality it also features multiple authors with links through to their individual pages.
This site is also hosted by me.

This is an extremely exciting project for me as it is the first site to use my own bespoke e-commerce solution to go live.
Built for AK Designs. Features include, the ability to add pages, categories and products. VAT and delivery can all be set, as well as choosing a payment gateway and stats on the most viewed products
Waterworth Marketing Consultants
This marketing company, based in Cambridge, specializes in helping new and small businesses get the start they deserve. Ensuring they have the best marketing and branding for their needs.
Because this is an extremely competitive industry, particular attention has been paid to search engine optimization
Biomass Renewable Energy
Biomass Heating Fuel. Created for and Designed by Stylus Design. The site was built using php and later incorporated Stylus', already created, custom content management system. The site also uses jQuery to allow the menu system to expand to show sub categories
David Orton Interiors
Created for Stylus Design. David Orton Interiors features flash on the home page and a jQuery dropdown menu for the kitchens section.
It also features Stylus' bespoke php/mysql content management system allowing the client to upload their own images to be displayed.
Oswestry Festival of the Word
Run by The Best of Oswestry, the festival is a series of events being held by local businesses to celebrate 'the word'.
Designed and built by me, The coming soon page needed to reflect the amount of interest being generated. The page features a twitter feed showing all tweets using the hash tag #oslitfest, a form to register interest and festival sponsors.
If you are familiar with me around the net you will recognise my avatar and know that I pop up all over the place!
I realised that I don't have one central area for all of my online profiles so this area is exactly that.
I am an active twitterer and through Twitter I hear about all sorts of tips, tutorials and blog posts, if I find them interesting I bookmark them to my Delicious account. Check out my tag cloud to find a subject of interest.
I have started to upload some of the photos I have taken to my flickr account now, and I am also on facebook.
Find me on facebookMusic is a huge part of my life. I listen to music at work, at home, in the car, pretty much anywhere I can. Recently I came across a new music player called Spotify.
Spotify is essentially an online music library which you create an account for. What I like about it is that because everything is stored online it means that you can access your playlists from any computer that has Spotify installed just by signing in.
The other thing I like about Spotify is you can share your playlists with other people, I am rubbish at creating my own playlists so I find websites like www.sharemyplaylists.com great. Here are some of my favourite playlists. Enjoy!
