The Brief …

Redesign existing WordPress website to allow new functionality and easier management of content.

The Solution …

When We Supply first approached me, their most important goal was to give a more modern look and feel to the website that introduced the content in an appealing way and encouraged the site visitor to want to read on.

The We Supply website had been running on an installation of WordPress since 1996 so after discussions with them and looking at their existing installation, it became clear that the site would need a considerable amount of upgrading as well as a new design.

An entire copy of their existing website was taken and installed in my test area. This allowed me to upgrade the database, develop a new theme and also allowed the client to edit content and re arrange pages without affecting the live site.

The new template features:

• Fully customisable drop down menus. Showing 3 levels of navigation.
• Auto Expanding side menu to show 3 levels of navigation.
• Feature area on the homepage allowing them to highlight specific content and case studies.
• The ability to swap and change preset boxes in both left and right columns allowing them to link to relevant content depending on the page that is being viewed.
• The ability to change the header areas in the blog section.
